With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry H. Cook of Streator, Illinois, born in Fairbury, Illinois, who passed away on October 15, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Cook and Eva Cook (Miller); his son Ryan; and his brother LaDaun Cook. He is survived by: his daughters, Maggie Deigh of Missouri and Sara Jane Mounce of Henderson, NV; his granddaughters, Bethany Bednar, Kristi Mounce, Emily Mounce and Riley Reed; his great grandchild Lotus Mayfield; and his sisters, Jude Kopriva of California and Laura Hall of Southern Illinois.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research, The Carmi Baptist Children's Home or to the New Beginnings Baptist Church.
