She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Witkowski; her son Kent Appel; her mother Helen Hayden Franks; her siblings, Gaylord, Gary Hayden and Noreen Arakel; her stepgrandson Derek Hinthorne; her children, Kevin Appel (Gayle) of Oswego, IL, Jan Holmes (Scott) of Bloomington, IL, Kurt Appel (Ron) of Wilmington, NC, Kyle Appel (Julie) of Manville, IL, Joy Lorch (Kurt) of Carmel, IN and Jen Blair (Scott) of Normal, IL.; and her stepchildren, Bob Witkowski (Sue) of Elizabeth, CO, Kathy Knoll of Normal, IL, Paula Witkowski Porter (Brian Tatro) of Bloomington, IL and Kevin Witkowski of Chenoa, IL.. She was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
