She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Avon and Lucille Avon (Armstrong); her husband Ronald Kornas; her daughter Kathryn Kornas-Holocker; and her siblings, Kathleen Janney and Carl Avon.
She is survived by: her siblings, Angie Gutek of Streator and Robert Avon (Mary) of Streator; her niece Allison Giacomini (Brad) of Godfrey; and her nephews, Joseph Avon of Streator, Todd Gutek of Cypress, Carl Janney of Illinois and Alan Janney of Indiana.
