He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Grabowski; his sons, Jerry Persinger (Amy) of Streator and James Persinger of St. Helen, FL; his stepson Larry Hallam of Streator; his grandsons, Kyle and Kaleb Persinger; and also, George Persinger of Tennesse and Leroy Persinger of Streator.
