He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack C. Darling, Sr. and Ila (Elmore). He is survived by: his sons, Jack C. "J. C." Darling, III (Wendy Redd) of Grand Ridge and Michael Darling (Erica) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Jade, Chance, Nicholas, Andrew and Dakota Darling; his great grandchildren, Emma Whitney, Aria Darling and Logan Darling; and his sister Penny Darling-Fenwick (Gene) of Streator.
