With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Godelieve A. Harmsen of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on March 3, 2023 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Godelieve A. Harmsen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alois Sabbe and Marguerite Sabbe (Bogaert); her husband John H. Harmsen; and her sisters, Alma Moule, Elza Brauner and Marie Matthews.

She is survived by: her sisters, Elise Franklin of Vancouver, British Columbia and Germaine Fraser of Surrey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Michael the Archangel School.
