She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gwin and Anita Gwin (Dixon); her sister Nancy Cole; her niece Lindsay Gulo; and her nephews, Erich Missel, Patrick McCauley and Kurt Cole.
She is survived by: her husband Scott Patterson of Streator; her sons, Brian Patterson (Melissa) of Carmel and Brad Patterson of Frederick, Maryland; her grandson Spencer Patterson; and her siblings, Carole Gwin of Morris, Ginny McCauley (Mike) of Streator, Greg Gwin of Jasper and Tim Gwin of Palestine, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
