He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Amell August of Streator; his children, Alan Amell of Nashville, TN, Jessica York (Sammy) of Streator, Earlene York of Streator, Jerry York (Trisha) of Streator, Valerie and Tammy Shafer (Thomas); and his siblings, Brenda York, Diana Bell (Marvin) and Danny York. He is also survived by several grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
