He is survived by: his wife Carol Gwaltney of Streator; his children, Missy Hines (Brian) of Janesville, Tricia Dooley (Patrick) of Oglesby and Eric Gwaltney (Talitha) of Streator; his grandchildren, Adam Hines, T. J. Vagasky, Emily Hipp (Alex), Tessa Vagasky, Cailey Gwaltney and Ava Gwaltney; and his brother Garry Gwaltney of Atlanta, Georgia..
