With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Grube of Streator, Illinois, born in Pontiac, Illinois, who passed away on August 12, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Richard and Mary Grube (Leskanich); his parents-in-law, Stanley and Irene Koprowski; his brother Joseph; and his sister-in-law Marlene Mattis.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Grube of Streator; his children, Susan Rothe (Detlef) of Darmstadt, Kerri Mather (Theodore) of Teaneck and Mark Joseph Grube (Kristen) of Chicago; his grandchildren, Alexandra Rothe of Leipzig, Axel Rothe (Lisa Marie) of Leipzig, Benjamin Mather of Teaneck and Ruby Mather of Tucson, Arizona; his sisters, Linda Grube of Streator and Mary Beth Sabino (James) of Morris; his sister-in-law Carol Shields (Steve) of Dwight; and his friend Joyce Bianchi of Streator.
