He was predeceased by: his father Charles Scott; his son Dalton Mesarchik; and his brothers, Arthur and Walter Scott. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Scott (Kennedy) of Streator; his children, Matthew Scott (Linda Robertson) of Streator, Dakota Mesarchik (Faith Yurko) of Streator, Jessica Wargo (Andrew) of Bloomington, Deana Mesarchik (William Overocker III) of Streator and Danielle Schnaiter (Kevin) of Setonville; and his sisters, Mary Bay (Richard) of Streator and Kristine Uhren of Streator. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
