He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gaydos and Margaret Gaydos (Majercin); his grandchildren, Tara Luttrell and James Carbone; and his siblings, Mary Ann Brewer, Louise Elias, Dolores Gaydos, Helen Gaydos, Stephen, John Jr. and Frank Gaydos.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gaydos of Streator; and his children, Patricia Yeager (Carl) of Florida, Carol Casey of Florida, Mary Mueller (Fred) of Streator, Beth Gaydos of Pennsylvania, George Gaydos (Goldie Peckham) of Wisconsin and Kenneth Gaydos (Linda) of Wisconsin. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
