He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Elmer and Vera Oldenburg (Potter); his siblings, Donna Mae Oldenburg and Larry Oldenburg; and his uncle Harold Oldenburg.
He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Rodrick; his children, Gary Oldenburg of Streator, Brian Oldenburg (Lora) of Salem, Tanya Fredericksen of Streator, Heather Ahlstrom of Streator and Tracy Rodrick (Candice Overby) of Streator; his grandchildren, Rebekah, Annabelle, Gunnar Oldenburg, Ashley Fredericksen, Megan and Chase Ahlstrom; and his brothers, Charles of Streator, Edward of Streator and Robert Oldenburg of Streator.
