She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Harcar and Anna Harcar (Lesak); her son Oral Higdon Jr.; her grandson Tanner Shepard; her siblings, Ann Beckom, Agnes Hornick, Thomas Jr., Joseph, Michael, William and Andrew Harcar; and her sisters-in-law, Rose Harcar, Maria Harcar and Ann Harcar.

She is survived by: her sons-in-law, Pat Hatzer, Dave Pearson and Kirk Drapp; her grandsons, Jack Pearson and Riley Drapp; her godson Jimmy Harcar; her husband Oral T. Higdon of Streator; her children, Aggie Hatzer (Pat) of Streator, Veronica Higdon of Ottawa, Mary Drapp (Kirk) of Naperville, Laurie Pearson (Dave) of Bloomington and Paul Higdon of Streator; her grandchildren, Michelle Whittington (Ry), Meghan Krzan (Chris), Abby, Emmy, Jackson Pearson and Ali Drapp; her great grandchildren, Emmett, Atticus, Oliver Whittington, Cole and Callie Krzan; and her siblings, Mary Ann Woodward of Bloomington and James Harcar of Streator. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
