It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Maubach of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Maubach and Bertha Maubach (Kramer). He is survived by: his wife Carol Maubach (Pallai) of Streator; his children, Allison Maubach (Aron Compton) of Streator and Aaron Maubach of Streator; his stepsons, Jimmy Pitte of Streator and Jason Pitte (Michelle) of Streator; his grandchildren, Chase Compton, Carter Compton, Haley Maubach, Ashlyn Maubach and Adyson Maubach; his stepgrandchildren, Justin Pitte and Malayna Pitte; and his siblings, Evelyn Neuhalfen (Robert) of Dwight, Janice Taylor of Pontiac, Raymond "Gene" Maubach (Diane) of Minooka and William "Bill" Maubach of Streator. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
