It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elzia Turpin Jr. (Streator, Illinois), born in Hennepin, Illinois, who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzia and Maggie Turpin Sr. (Tyree); his wife Marlene Ann Kohn; his sons, Edward Marshall and William Clyde Turpin; and his siblings, Luretta Fagg, Thelma Maubach, John and Aldon Turpin.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Von Ruden (Stacy Joslin) of Streator; his grandchildren, Brie Ann Von Ruden of Streator and Dustin Von Ruden (Nicole) of Anchorage; and his great grandchild Kilian. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
