As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Elidio may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arcadio Alvardo and Domitila Ramirez; his wife Maria Graciela Guajardo; and his siblings, Edmundo Alvarado and Emma Alvarado.
He is survived by: his brother Jose Orlando Alvarado of Mexico. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Winterrowd-Hagi Funeral Home (305 S Park St, Streator, IL 61364). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Church (404 S Park St, Streator, IL 61364).
