With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Cheli of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on January 29, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Centko and Rose Centko (Wahl); and her siblings, Terry Centko and Elveda Kakara. She is survived by: her sons, John Cheli (Zhanna) of Ottawa and David Cheli (Alice) of Ottawa; her grandchildren, John "Stas" Cheli, Edward Cheli, Vadim Cheli, Dave Cheli Jr., Carrie Kubistal, Becky DePue, Danny Rice and Joe Zane; her siblings, Florian Centko of Streator and Freda Elmore of Kentucky; and her sister-in-law Nancy Centko of Streator. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
