It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Wurmnest of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on November 25, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Minnie Divora; her spouse Dale Wurmnest; and her siblings, Bernarda Divora and Paul Divora. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Hichborn (Wally Roach) of Streator, Judy Gourley (James) of Naperville and Paula Gottemoller (Paul) of Princeville; and her grandchildren, Kari, Joseph Hichborn, Benjamin, Mark, Katherine, Maria, Andrew (Sveta), Jennifer Andreasen (Arnold), Gottemoller, Patrick (Mandy), Steven and Ryan Gourley.
Due to Covid a private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Streator.
Memorials may be directed to St Vincent De Paul Society, St. Michael the Archangel Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
