She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lesak and Emma Lesak (Seroka); and her sisters, Marcella Handzo and Elsie Trainor. She is survived by: her husband James Hefler; her children, Brenda Cieslak of Canton, MI and Brian Hefler of Corning, NY; her siblings, Gene Lesak of Monclova, OH, Theresa Hogan of Odell and Rita Pshak of Tonica; and her siblings-in-law, Joy Brewer of Streator, Doris Tanner of Streator and Dennis Emmick. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Winterrowd-Hagi Funeral Home (305 S Park St, Streator, IL 61364). Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at the St. Stephen's Cemetery E Main.
Memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
