He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Schell and Helena Schell (Lyle); and his niece Brenda Kuntz. He is survived by: his sister Beverly Wells (Harold) of Gridley; his nephews, Wes Wells (Kristen) and Rollyn Kuntz (Angie); and his great-nephews, Jacob, David, Nathan, Mark, Ben Kuntz, Mikel Steffen and Clint Kupferschmid.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Winterrowd-Hagi Funeral Home (305 S Park St, Streator, IL 61364). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at the Gridley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any Veteran's Organization or a charity of the donors choice.
