She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Chalkey and Ruth Chalkey (Clements); and her brother Douglas Chalkey. She is survived by: her son Michael Chalkey (Courtney Prentice) of Streator; her grandchildren, Alex, Keagen and Charlotte; her siblings, Dennis "Mooney" Chalkey of Streator, Thomas Chalkey (Susan) of Gilbert, AZ, Timothy Chalkey (LouAnn) of Streator and Rhonda Phillis of Streator; and her stepsiblings, Ronald Sauers (Marilyn) of Streator, Dale "Creature" Sauers of Streator, Carol Noonan (Chuck) of Huntley and Brenda Heinz (Denise Stillwell) of Huntley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
