He was predeceased by: his parents, David W. McCoy and Erma McCoy (Whitlock); and his brothers, Wally, Gary and Edgar.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Harold Hamilton; his grandsons, Owen, Neven, David, Samuel and Johnathan McCoy; his son-in-law Steve Carl; his grandsons, Mason McCoy, Steven Carl and Lawrence Summers; his brother-in-law Jim Reynolds (Dean Alhstrom); his spouse Aloma Reynolds; and his children, David McCoy Jr. of Streator, Carrie Carl (Steve) of Streator, Melanie McCoy of Streator, Rachael Hamilton (Harold) of Las Vegas, NV, Willis McCoy (Jillian) of Oglesby and Kenneth McCoy (Kirsty) of Milford. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
