It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Lee Rice Sr. of Streator, Illinois, born in Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on April 6, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, DeWayne Rice and Beverly Rice (Stevens); his grandson Elijah DePue; and his siblings, Jack, Garnie Rice, Gayla and Debbie Rice.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca DePue (Zach) of Utica, Daniel Rice, Jr. (Jessie) of Princeton and Christy Phillips of Texas; and his siblings, Dallas Rice (Jami) of Ottawa, Dewey Rice of Ottawa, Joe Rice of Ottawa and Kathy Duffy (Dennis) of Ottawa. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
