It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Wheaton of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Wheaton and Mable Wheaton (Legare); his wife Ursula Jean Vernoy; and his siblings, Gary Martin, Jack Wheaton and Darlene Helander.

He is survived by: his daughters, Agnes Vernoy of Ottawa, Eugenea Harmon (David) of Streator and Samantha Wheaton of Streator; and his siblings, Bob Wheaton (Theresa) of Oklahoma, Larry Martin (Julie) of Ottawa, James Martin Sr. of Ottawa, Gene Martin of Ottawa, June Dawson of Ohio and Diane Nelson (John) of Ottawa. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in his name to Pet Project in Marseilles.
