She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Butler and Josephine Butler (Bolinger); her husband Larry E. Platt; her stepfather Paul Snell; and her grandson Kurtous Robertson.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Gray of Indiana, Lisa Platt of Indiana, Wayne Platt of Streator, Kimberly Robertson (Kevin) of Streator and Timmy Platt (Carrie) of Ottawa; and her siblings, Jerry Butler and Marilyn Butler of Indiana. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
