He was predeceased by: his parents, Logan Shaw and Tollie Shaw (Sparks); his wife Joyce A. Cunningham; his son-in-law David Losey; and his parents-in-law, Bill, Nancy Cunningham, Toots, Raymond Decker, Nancy Szobar, Glenn Cunningham and Mary Jane Loy.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Kevin, Charlie Chismarick and Pat Promenschenkel; his daughters, Kathy Losey of Streator, Karen Schmitt of Streator and Julie Arizzi (Michael) of Bolingbrook; his grandchildren, Paul Losey (Christy), Felicia Promenschenkel (Pat), Adam Losey (Amanda), Ali Chismarick (Kevin), Gabriella and Jonathan Arizzi; his great grandchildren, Lily Promenschenkel, Anna, Abby Losey, Olivia, Charlie, Molly Chismarick, Braylen, Jack and Hadlee Losey; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Wagner and Melva Cunningham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Streator Elks Lodge, Streator Knights of Columbus, he served on the Board of Directors of Streator Home and Loan since 2000 and also a original board member of the Woodland Education Foundation. Memorials may be made to the Woodland Education Foundation.
