With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christine M. Barnec of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on October 18, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Donald Gilbert; her stepfather Richard Krumscheid; her great grandchild Julius Cervantez; and her sister Laurie Applebee. She is survived by: her husband Randy Barnec; her children, Noell MacCue (Marshall) of Streator and Donald Barnec (Kelle) of Germany; her grandchildren, Robert and Serena Cervantez; her great grandchildren, Marcel and Oakleigh; her mother Elsa Krumscheid (Hau) of Streator; and her siblings, Paula Thompson (David) of Wisconsin, Cathy Berry (Raymond) of Streator and Rick Krumscheid (Shelly) of Streator. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
