He is survived by: his children, Christina Carroll of Arizona, Charlie Carroll Jr. of Arizona, Caronell Carroll of Arizona and Jasmine Gullens of LaSalle; his stepson Lester Jones of Arizona; his grandchildren, Dayvondrik, Javon, Abdul Qawi of LaSalle, Ashley, Alan, Marie, Deja, Kiara and Anisa; and his siblings, Willie Carroll (Thelma) of Kankakee, Doris Williams (Eddie) of Memphis, TN, Lillie Carroll of University Park, IL, Linda Robinson of Memphis, TN and Don L. Deberry (Alma Washington) of Los Angeles, CA.

Memorials may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
