It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn (Aukland) Nystedt of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on July 16, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Aukland and Delores Aukland (Proud); and her brother Gerald L. Aukland. She is survived by: her husband Sam Pilato of Streator; her daughters, Jenale Aukland of Yorkville and Kaleigh Nystedt of Morris; her nephews, Douglas Aukland (Paula) of Plainfield and Dustin Aukland (Andrea) of Elmhurst; her grandchildren, Aden, Alexia, Imonie, Ava, Annabelle, Aaron, William and Cole; her stepdaughters, Allison, Erica, Lisa and Alexandra; and her brothers, Thomas Aukland (Paula) of Streator, Ralph Richard Aukland (Sandy) of Streator and Randall Aukland (Rubie Ann) of Punta Gorda, FL. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews and several friends.
