Carol Shabala Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Shabala of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on March 29, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Ochsner and Martha Ochsner (Sunnen); her husband Mark R. Shabala; and her son Mark J. "Markie" Shabala. She is survived by: her sons, Brady M. Phelan of Streator, Bryan Phelan (Tammy) of Coal City and Adam J. Shabala (Casey) of Plainfield; her grandchildren, Ryne Phelan, Knox J. Shabala, Decker S. Shabala, Canon N. Shabala and Bryanna Simmerman (Dillon); her great grandchildren, Faelyn and Greyson Simmerman; and her brother Ralph Ochsner of Streator.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to OSF Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
