He was predeceased by: his parents, James Petersen and Gloria Petersen (Reaska); and his siblings, Carol Kirk and James. He is survived by: his sisters, Judy Lanning (Dave) of Streator, Joyce Lanning (Dan) of Stillwell, MO and Janice Petersen of Streator. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (1541 E 16th Rd, Streator, IL 61364).
