He was predeceased by: his parents, Mauro Perez and Herlinda Perez (Garza); his wife Magdalena Hernandez; his stepchildren, Marta Salaz, Manuel Aguilar, Santiago Aguilar, Angela Reyes, Juan Aguilar and Phillip Reynero Sr.; his grandson Phillip Reynero Jr.; his great grandchild Angel Perez; and his siblings, Tomas, Mauro, Rodolfo, Jesus, Jose Perez, Hortencia, Maria, Guadalupe and Francisca.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Al Perez III, Tony Perez, Gabe Perez Sr., Juan Albarran, Misael Albarran and Jake Perez; his great grandchild Gabe Perez Jr.; his children, Alvaro Perez Jr. (Karen) of Streator, Maria Herlinda Perez of Streator and Carlos Perez (Vicki) of Ottawa; and his stepchildren, Severa Fraga (Max) of Streator and Luis Aguilar (Eudelia) of Laredo, TX. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren.
