He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Meyers and Helen Meyers (Ward); his wife Shirley M. Stehl; his grandson Philip Meyers; and his siblings, Barb Ewing and William Meyers.

He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Meyers of Streator, Sam Meyers (Rosie) of Indianapolis, IN, Kay Meyers of Streator and Paul Meyers (Jacqleene) of Minonk; his grandchildren, Janette Marie, Lynette of Washington, Buddy Ahlstrom, Luke Meyers (Haley), Rebekah Meyers, Hannah Kress (Brad), Leah Anderson (Bobby) and Abigail Meyers; his great grandchildren, Milah Anderson and Sebastian Kress; and his sister Carole Meyers of Krebes, OK..
