He was predeceased by: his wife Kristine Pokorny; his parents, George Pokorny and Martha Pokorny; and his brother George Pokorny (Lynn). He is survived by: his children, Lorie Van De (Steve), Normann Pokorny Jr. (Pauline), Lisa Juna (John), Don Pokorny (Denise) and Kathy Dunne (Jamie); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Ben), Steven (Candace), Kristen (Wilson), Matthew (Ellen), Dan (Sophie), Kyle (Jenni), Michael, Ben (Sarah), Bayley, Samantha, Jillian (Neil), Jacqueline, Alex (Jackie), Tyler, Joey, Victoria (Carl), Johnny, Linda (Kevin) and KC (Jess); his great grandchildren, Cody, Avery, Wyatt, Noah, Jack, Noelle, Natalya, Liam, Ethan, Nate, Rory, Deven, Max, Luke and Joanna; and his siblings, Beverly Villareal (Marshall), Bob Pokorny (Carol), Marilyn Augustine (John), Michael Pokorny (Angela), Dian Kovack (Ken) and Susan Leckinger (Paul).
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory (1640 S Green Meadows Blvd, Streamwood, IL 60107). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
