He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris Severson and Ada Severson. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Severson (Nowara); his former wife Jacquelyn Parr; his children, Kimberly Bazant (David), Christopher Severson and Brian Severson; his granddaughters, Madison Severson and Ana Bazant; his sister Marcia Peterson (Charles); his niece Mary "Lilbet" Neumayer (Joe); and his nephews, Erik and Karl Neumayer.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oehler Funeral Home (2099 Miner St, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Ridgewood Memorial Park (9900 N Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
