He was predeceased by: his parents, Regino Lainez and Florencia Lainez; and his siblings, Arceli DeCastro (late Donato), Sining Ortega and Melchor Lainez (Lety).
He is survived by: his wife Teodora; his children, Danilo Lainez (Carmen) and Diana "Joy" Gumila (Jerry); his grandchildren, Jerrick, Jerrilyn, Christian, Jeremy, Jeriann and Dylan; and his siblings, Tommy Lainez (Cely) and Ligaya Nebriji (late Nicanor). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Morizzo Funeral Home (2550 Hassell Rd, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services (2550 Hassell Rd, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169).
