He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip and Marian. He is survived by: his significant other Judy Rafferty; his children, Stefanie Thomas and Rob Meier (Mel); his stepchildren, Cindy Carlson, Chrissy Insalato (Bob), Mike Froelich and Jackie McCoy-Hoven; his grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas Thomas and Lizzie Meier; and his siblings, Jerry Meier (Rita) and Susie Meier.
