He is survived by: his children, Bill Childress (Sally), Sandy (Steve) of Elgin and Dana Childress; his grandchildren, Jason Smith (Angela), Craig Smith, Justin Smith (Debbie) and Ashley Childress; his great grandchildren, Aubri, Kalli and Austin Smith; and his siblings, Olivia Baker and William Childress (Theresa). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
