He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Adams and Vera Mae Adams (White); his daughter Bonnie; his son-in-law Joseph Benton; and his siblings, Cyril, Leo, Phyllis, Ella Mae and Geraldine.

He is survived by: his wife Kay of Strasburg; and his children, Tammy Benton of Lovington, Bobby Adams of Effingham, Sally Ooton (Jack) of Xenia and David Adams of Strasburg.
