It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca J. Ulmer of Strasburg, Illinois, born in Pana, Illinois, who passed away on November 12, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ocus Wells and Pauline Hardison Wells; her father-in-law Richard Ulmer; and her siblings, Edward, Larry, Raben Wells and Betty Markle.
She is survived by: her former husband Steven J. Ulmer; her husband Steve; her children, Sarah Quast (Rob) of Strasburg, IL, April Ulmer of Newton, IL and Garrett Ulmer (Jaime) of Shelbyville, IL; her mother-in-law Beulah Ulmer of Strasburg, IL; her siblings, Jerry Wells (Cheryl) of Shelbyville, James Wells (Becky) of Shelbyville, John Wells (Joy) of Shelbyville, Paula Hubner (Roger) of Shelbyville, IL, Pam Catona (Phillip) of Shelbyville, IL, Loretta Agney (Brad) of Shelbyville, IL, Barb Hocking (Donavan) of Shelbyville, IL and Christy Macklin (Brent) of Findlay, IL; her sister-in-law Janet Wells of Shelbyville, IL; and her grandchildren, Holden Schmidt, Bryce Brown, Dawson Quast, Kinley Quast, Kit Ulmer and Kolt Ulmer.
Memorials may be given to the Strasburg Park Project.
