She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Evans and Mary Fern Evans; her stepmother Mary Best Evans; and her siblings, Rex Evans and Vera Shores.

She is survived by: her husband Glenn H. Pieper; her sons, Steve Pieper (Jean) of Strasburg, IL, Sid Pieper (Lori) of Henry, IL and Shawn Pieper (Summer) of Grandview, TX; her siblings, Kenny Evans (Susan) of Mattoon, IL, Patty Hilligoss (David) of Charleston, IL, Marilyn Coleman of Phoenix, AZ and Sue Grissom of Greenup, IL; and her grandchildren, Katie Miller (Luke), Sara Pieper (Jessie Ahrens), Kyle Pieper (Melissa), Kelsey Pieper and Braxton Pieper.

Memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL or the Alzheimer's Association.
