It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester D. Edwards (Strasburg, Illinois), born in Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Edwards and Lola Edwards (Williams); and his daughter Carmen Williamson. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Edwards (Boaz); his daughter Jill Conyers; his son-in-law Ken Williamson; his granddaughters, Emaline, Grace and Ella Conyers; and his sister Carol Armstrong (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family asks that everyone respects their wishes of wearing masks and social distancing.
