He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl and Louise Marie Pieper (Mueller); his wife Phyllis Anne Evans; and his brother Carl Pieper. He is survived by: his sons, Steve Pieper (Jean) of Stewardson, IL, Sid Pieper of Chillicothe, IL and Shawn Pieper (Summer) of Grandview, TX; his sister Martha Galenski of Clayton, IN; his grandchildren, Katie Miller (Luke), Sara Ahrens (Jessie), Kyle Pieper (Melissa), Kelsey Pieper and Braxton Pieper; and his great grandchild Rhett Ahrens.
Memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL.
