It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Margaret Holthaus of Stonington, Illinois, born in Pana, Illinois, who passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Beyers and Marguerite Beyers; her husband Art Holthaus; her brothers, Cyril, Nick, Dale and Lyle Beyers; her grandson Steven Holthaus; and her sons-in-law, Chuck Shewmaker and Bill White.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Chris Holthaus, Amy Holthaus-Little, Jeff, Toby Arceneaux, Clint Shewmaker, Michael, Matthew Owen, Morgan, Maggie Holthaus and Emily Mink; her siblings, Don Beyers, Joe Beyers, Bill Beyers, Mike Beyers, Pat Beyers-Holthaus and Bette Beyers-Funneman; and also, Donald Holthaus (Carol) of Decatur, IL, David Holthaus (Brenda) of Prairieville, LA, Marcia Holthaus, Carol White of Stonington, Geralyn Owen (Bob) of West Liberty, IA and Robert Holthaus (Jill) of Stonington, IL. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
