She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas and Alta Rape Durbin; her husband Wesley McChristy; her sons, Bill McChristy and Joe McChristy; and her siblings, Darrell Durbin, Theodore Durbin and Fayetta Robinson.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy McChristy Dowdy, David McChristy (Susan) and Mac McChristy (Cynthia); her daughter-in-law Mary Lou McChristy of Stonington; her grandchildren, Frank McChristy, Michael McChristy, Tim Dowdy, Bruce Dowdy, Stacey Niemann, Stephanie Heberling, Bonnie Fleming, Scott McChristy, Ben McChristy and Kelley McChristy; and her sister Evelyn Yurdin. She is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
