George Overstreet Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2021 we had to say goodbye to George Overstreet of Stonefort, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Overstreet and Jaunita Overstreet (Johnson); his grandchild Moore; and his brothers, John Overstreet and Cecil "Butch" Overstreet.

He is survived by: his wife Rita Overstreet of Stonefort; his daughters, Christy Lewis (Steve) of Harrisburg and Karen Moore (Bill) of West Frankfort; his grandchildren, Cassidy Russell (Brad), Austin Lewis (Jackie), Jacob Lewis (Kayla), Sawyere Dallas and Colby Reeder; his great grandchildren, Brendan, Mason, Blakelyn, Aubrey, Henley and Mylee; and his siblings, James Overstreet of Carrier Mills and Mary Pennell (Jim) of Dickson, Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
