We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Ruth A. Lawfer of Stockton, Illinois, born in Morrison, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis VenHuizen and Winnie VenHuizen (VanOosten); her son Gary; and her brothers, Arnie and Robert VenHuizen.

She is survived by: her children, Greg Lawfer (Eileen), Jeff Lawfer (Susan), Rick Lawfer (Melissa) and Deb Lawfer (Bob Eilders); her grandchildren, Chad Lawfer (Wendy), Lacey Blake (Casey), Jarret Lawfer, Tanner Lawfer, Heather Larson (Tim), Carrie Lawfer, Hannah Lawfer, Kenzie Arand and Maddy Arand; and her sisters, Beverly Gille (Bob) and Cathy Mills (Doug). She is also survived by her 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for FHN Hospice.
