With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald R. Koncz (Stockton, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 29, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Koncz and Theresa Koncz; and his child Pat Koncz Ricciardi. He is survived by: his children, Nikki Matthiscyk (Kris) and Ron Ricciardi (Nikki); his grandchildren, Patsy, Dante, Vincent and Kinley; and his siblings, Beverly Barath and Steve Koncz.

Memorial donations can be made in memory of Ron to the National Pediatric Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

“I hadnt heard from Ron in a long time so I checked online and sadly found his obit. Ron and I grew to be friends from him coming to my gym in Freeport. We hung out and went to at least one Stockton football game. He was a great guy w a huge heart and I will miss him dearly. RIP my good friend, I know yr in Heaven. Bill”
