With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brock Kappes of Stockton, Illinois, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Brock leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Kappes. He is survived by: his mother Kay Kappes (Weinkauf); his fiancée Angela Kuehl; his children, Whitney Althof (Nathan), Sidney Kuehl and Ryder Kappes; his brother Brent Kappes (Marisa); and his aunts, Nancy Rice and Kaye Clark.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hermann Funeral Home (249 N Park St, Stockton, IL 61085). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (600 N Main St, Stockton, IL 61085).
